It’s a normal day outside, but it’s raining. I’m in English, writing and writing with my pen held tight in my hand. I have P.E. For my next class; I’m doing soccer at the minute, but since it’s raining with tears, what will we do today?
It’s 11:09, time to go. I pack my laptop, papers and notebooks, and head downstairs. But before I go to P.E, I have a job of closing the light brown wooden boxes with everyone’s backpacks in them (well, not everyone’s). I throw my bag into the container and put my lunchbox on the side; then I just wait. I have to wait until everyone has gone, so then I can lock them.
About seven minutes later, everyone is gone and I lock the bins. Every day I do it, the 5th graders are still at lunch. It’s always noisy, and I overheard the teachers saying they will be getting assigned seats, since they couldn’t behave. I’m done locking the bins, and head to the gym.
When I arrive, everyone is in there waiting to go get changed. I go over to Paola (who sits in front of me) and sat down behind her.
“Group one, go get changed”. I heard Coach Scott yell. I’m in that group, so I got up and went to change.
Once I was changed, I went and asked Coach what we were doing.
“We’re playing soccer here in the gym.” He replied.
I go over to the far wall and wait to get picked onto a team. I heard Daniel pick me to be on his team, so I walked over and put on a yellow penny. But just when we were about to start, coach swapped me with Liz, so I walked to the other side of the court and was ready to play. (well, at least I think I was).
